Dear Friends,
We all have things that come against us in life. People that are unfair, a sickness that won't go away or a setback with our personal finances. Sometimes, it was no fault of our own. We were born into difficulties, Parents that weren't around, depression and addictions that keep getting passed down. We wonder, why am I having this opposition? Why, was I raised in an unhealthy childhood? Why, did this company let me go after all these years? It's because there's something in you that the enemy's trying to stop. Those bad breaks were not random but were strategic attacks from Satan. If the enemy wasn't threatened by you he wouldn't be trying to hold you back. If he couldn't see greatness in your future he wouldn't waste his time bringing those challenges. When you gave your life to Christ, God marked you and said, you are mine. He put that crown of favor on your head. That's great but the challenge is you become a target to the enemy. He knows you're destine to take new ground. He knows God has favored you to leave your mark. The enemy is going to work over time to try to do anything he can in order to stop you. Many times the enemy knows who we are even before we realize it ourselves. When David was a teenager working out in the shepherd's fields. He seemed as ordinary as can be, he didn't have a significant position, taking care of his father's sheep. He didn't come from wealth or influence as they were a low income family. There was nothing about David, that stood out. Why did his father leave him in the shepherd's fields when Samuel came to anoint one of the sons as the next king. It was no big deal to bring him into the house. Why did he disrespect David and look down on him like that? When David took lunch to his brother's when they were in the army. Why did his oldest brother be little David and make fun of him? Why was he jealous? David wasn't intimidating, he didn't seem like he was any threat to them. The enemy can see things in you that you cannot see in yourself. David viewed himself as just an ordinary shepherd boy. Yet, God designed him for greatness and Satan could see the potential David carried inside of his life. He knew he had God's favor to slay Goliath and drop this giant to his death. That's is why David's opposition was so great. Many of our trials and difficulties you've faced didn't make sense. They just didn't appear out of nowhere but child of God know this for certain that as Christians we are in a spiritual battle and if God be for us, no man or obstacle can stand in our way. God will fight for you and make no mistake about it what the enemy meant to destroy and harm you God will turn it around and use it for his glory. Have a new prospective, those fiery darts are a sign and testament that God has a set up for your future.
