“The Center of Gods Will”

Updated: Apr 19, 2023

Hello 👋 😁 & Welcome!

Today’s Word is about being in the center of God’s Will. It's a serious matter which leads to a very important question: How do I know, if I am in the center of God's will? The answer is quite simple, The Lord Will reveal it to you but we must be willing to do our part and seek him for that answer.

A similar question was posed to Jesus by the religious leaders of His day. They asked it in a different way, and their motives were not so pure, but their desire to know and be in God's Will was just as real as ours.

Matthew 22:34-40

“But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

We can live that kind of life:

Love God above all else. Love people as much as you love yourself. Love God with your whole heart, and love people like God loves them. If we live like that we can have confidence that we are at the center of God's Will, and in the safest place in the world. Want to feel safe? Love God and love people. Want to be confident that you are doing God's Will? Love God and love people. Want to live a life that has meaning and purpose and value? Love God and love people.

What is the center of God's Will? Love God and love people. A life lived that pleases God and lived to love people is a life lived on the edge, a life filled with adventure, and perhaps a life of danger. But, it is also life at the center of God's Will. We can live that kind of life. We can enjoy that kind of life. Then, we can share that kind of life. By following God's lead, we experience His power, His mercy, and His protection. We can have great confidence that "The safest place in the world is to be in the center of God's Will."

Throughout the passages of the Bible, we read of men and women who lived through difficult times, survived seemingly impossible situations, left the familiar for the unknown, endured life-threatening conditions, and some lost their lives for their mission and their faithfulness. But they honored and pleased God! They lived and rested in His promises.

There is no doubt the safest place in the world is to be in the center of God's Will. Scripture confirms it to be true. What about you? Do you believe that the safest place in the world is to be in the center of God's Will? Yet, the reverse can be said, the most dangerous place in the world is to be out of God's Will.

Finding Your Path Through Faith:

Dear Lord, we humbly come before you and thank you as you formed us in our mothers womb and called us by name. I know we are no surprise to you as we are fearfully and wonderfully made by your hand. I know you have a purpose for our lives for such a time as this. I pray you would reveal the path you have selected for each person here today. I pray for your guidance and wisdom that they might know beyond a shadow of a doubt and that they would be confident enough to walk in their purpose. May you grant unto them strength for obedience and prepare them as they align themselves under your direction. May they desire to live a life that pleases you and be an instrument that glorifies your name. O’ Lord, help us find our paths that best serves you. Keep us from decisions that will tarnish and destroy our lives. Let us be a symbol of courage and positivity, everywhere we go. Show us your light in times of darkness. Let us choose right every time. Let us dwell on the path you have set and cause us to know your ways in truth and righteousness and let us live in your eternal glory. In Jesus name, I decree and declare your Will in our lives be done. Amen!”

In His Grip,
