“Fearfully & Wonderfully Made”

Hello 👋 😁 & Welcome!

May this word resonate in your spirit as you continue to press forward, onward and upward knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Have you ever looked in the mirror and told yourself that you are average, inadequate, or not enough? If so, then you’re not seeing yourself the way God sees you. You are not seeing yourself as a result of God’s divine creation. Listen to what God says about you.

In Psalm 139:14, the psalmist, David, is praising God because he is overwhelmed by the majesty of a God who could create him in such an intricate and unique way. David is in complete awe of our amazing God.

However, to say, “I am fearfully and wonderfully made” while praising God is kind of an odd thing to do, right? So, let’s look a bit closer at what’s going on here. The word “wonderfully” is the Hebrew word “pala”, which means to be separate, distinguished, or unique. Basically it means God made you to be special because it was God who created your inward parts; He knit you together in your mother's womb.

Let us accept the idea that trouble does not arise by chance, nor does it occur by accident. Trouble naturally belongs to God's moral government and is one of His invaluable agents In governing the world.

“Almighty God, we realize you can use our troubles to accomplish great things in this life for your glory. I will praise You because I have been fearfully and wonderfully made.” 🥰

In His Grip,

Pastor Wendy Schenkel
