Decrees of Blessings..

Updated: Sep 26, 2022

Hello 👋 😁 & Welcome!

Today, I feel compelled in my spirit to share a word about Decrees of Blessings.

I Decree that:

1. I am known by my extravagant generosity to the poor, for I always reach out my hands to those in need.

2. I am happy and blessed because I am gracious to the poor.

3. I am gracious to those in need and confident that the Lord will repay me for kind deeds to others and I will never want.

4. Because I look after the physical needs of others and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, my light will rise in the darkness. The Lord will continually guide me and give strength to my bones.

5. The Lord enriches me in every way so that I can be generous on every occasion, knowing that my generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

6. I am blessed because I consider the poor. The Lord delivers and protects me in times of trouble, and I am called blessed in the land.

7. I love not only in word but also in deed and truth, looking out for the needs of others and giving generously where needed.

8. Because God has richly provided for me, I will be rich in good works, generous and ready to share, storing up treasures as a good foundation for the future.

9. As I feed the hungry, clothe, visit and care for the needy, I am demonstrating my love for Jesus.

10. My prayers and gifts to the poor go up as a memorial offering before God.

📜 Decrees based on these Scriptural references:

Acts 10:3-4

“He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.”

Isaiah 58:6-8

“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to unto the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.”

Psalm 41:1-3

“Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.”

Proverbs 22:9

“He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.”

I John 3:16-18

“Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and Seth his brother have need, and shutters up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Proverbs 19:17

“He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.”

Proverbs 31:20

”She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.”

Proverbs 14:21

“He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the poor, happy is he.”

Proverbs 28:27

“He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.”

I Timothy 6:17-19

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.”

II Corinthians 9:11

“Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.”

Matthew 25:35-40

“For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

Enclosing, God spoke to my heart saying my people are praying for me to do for others what they themselves can do for someone else. We activate our love for Christ by being his extended hand. We are called to serve and I challenge you to go look for someone in need. God has given you the strength, ability & means to sow a seed into someone’s life. It’s even better when that person cannot repay you. I declare and decree under God’s authority that if you will step out by faith in obedience and do what God is leading you to do God will open supernatural doors that you yourself cannot open. He will pour down a blessing, you will not be able to contain. I proclaim this decree and call it done in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!

In His Grip,

Pastor Wendy Schenkel
